Use of the Site
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the Site for lawful informational and business purposes. You agree not to:
- use the Site in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or its networks, or to disrupt how they run;
- scrape or collect data from the Site by automated means without our written permission;
- introduce malware or compromise the security of the Site.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, code, logos, and the Vossian name — belong to Vossian or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our prior written consent.
The concept sites shown in our portfolio are demonstration builds created on our own initiative; the businesses they depict are fictional.
Estimates and tools
Figures, timelines, and estimates shown on the Site or produced by our estimators and guided workflows are calculated from our published rates and are indicative only. They help you plan; they are neither a firm offer, nor a quote, nor a guarantee. The scope, price, and terms of an engagement are set only in a written agreement signed by both parties.
Client engagements
Project work is governed by a separate services agreement covering scope, deliverables, fees, ownership of the work, timeline, and acceptance. Where that agreement and these Terms conflict, the signed agreement prevails for that engagement.
Every Vossian website is delivered through our managed platform to ensure performance, security, updates, and long-term reliability. And whatever happens, your domain, your content, your data, and your brand assets belong to you — the services agreement describes the handover process.
Third-party links and content
The Site may reference or link to third-party sites, content, or services we don’t control. We provide them for convenience; their accuracy and practices belong to their authors, and you access them at your own risk.
No warranty on the Site
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly current. The guarantees we make to clients are set out in their services agreement; this section concerns the public Site only.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vossian and its founders are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Vossian harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or a breach of these Terms.
Changes to the Site and Terms
We may evolve the Site and revise these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, as the date at the top indicates. By continuing to use the Site after a change, you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute that cannot be resolved otherwise will be brought before the courts of Québec.
General
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Not exercising a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed services agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Vossian regarding the Site.
