What we collect
We collect only what we need to reply to you and carry out our work. This site has no user accounts, no newsletter, and no audience-measurement tools.
- The contact form: your name, your company name if you give it, your email address, and the description of your project. It all reaches us by email — the site keeps no database of submissions.
- Our correspondence: whatever you send us afterwards by email or share by phone in the course of an inquiry or an engagement.
- One piece of technical data: your IP address travels with a form submission, solely to limit automated abuse. It feeds no profile and no analytics tool.
The performance figures shown on this site — the ledger — are measured in your own browser and are never transmitted to us.
We knowingly collect no sensitive information (health, personal finances, biometric data). Please don’t send any through the site.
What we do with it
- Reply to your inquiry, prepare the prototype and proposal we discuss, then deliver the services we agree on.
- Operate, secure, and improve this site.
- Meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
And that’s all. No unrequested newsletter, no resale, no targeted advertising. If our practices ever change, we will ask for your consent first.
Consent
By writing to us, you consent to our using your information to reply and follow up on your request. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to hello@vossian.com: we will then delete your information, except what the law requires us to keep.
Where your information travels
Some of our providers, including email delivery, process data on servers located outside Québec and Canada, notably in the United States. Before retaining a provider, we assess the protection it offers and make sure, through its contractual commitments, that it is comparable to what is required here.
How long we keep it
As long as necessary, and no longer: the life of our exchange or our business relationship, plus the retention periods the law sets for accounting and tax records. After that, we delete.
How we protect it
Encryption in transit (HTTPS), access limited to the two founders, and a habit of collecting as little as possible — the best-protected information is the information never collected. No system is perfect: if a confidentiality incident ever affected your information, we would inform you and act as the law provides.
Your rights
Law 25 and PIPEDA give you, among others, the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and know how it is used;
- have corrected anything inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date;
- withdraw your consent and ask that your information be deleted;
- receive the information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format (portability);
- file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To exercise any of these rights, write to the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Vossian, at hello@vossian.com. We reply within the timeframes the law sets.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We knowingly collect no personal information from a child under 14. If you believe a child has sent us some, write to us: we will delete it.
Links to other sites
This site may link to third-party sites we don’t control. Their privacy practices are their own; take a moment to read them before leaving information there.
Changes to this policy
If our practices or the law evolve, this policy will be updated and the date at the top will reflect it. For any significant change, we will seek your consent again where the law requires it.
